Early on it was CompuServe, then a series of BBS mailboxes, Juno, AOL, Hotmail, Netscape, Yahoo, various ISPs and institutions, and then the insanity had to stop. Trying to find a stable mail address and service was like pulling teeth, and every time I had to update my email address I seemed to lose contact with someone. There had to be a better way. I needed an immutable email address and immutable.org was born.
